Ham, it comes in so many varieties (my favourites being gammon ham, parma ham and serrano ham), and is much tastier.

Bendy straws ... they don't fall apart so easily I find ... and you can connect 10 of them together, put a bit of tape around each join (to make them airtight), and use them to drink something accross the room.
