Unfortunately, I've been relying on my glasses so much over the last month to read (reading for ~14 hours of the day hurts my eyes without) that I can no longer read anything comfortably without them

Fortunately, ECM might be able to smuggle some to you whenever he's near Britain
When the fox hears the rabbit scream, he comes a-runnin'.

But not to help.

Unfortunately, I don't think the Royal N.Z. Navy ever gets near Britain. They have, like, two ships ......

Fortunately, I found my optician's phone number, so I'm gonna go get me an appointment to go and see if he can give me any advice or point me towards an eye doctor/therapist.

Hey!

Hahaha, you're almost right though. We have two frigates, which are our only vessals with warfare capability. The NZ Navy works more with coastal protection and protecting our shipping interests and those of our trading partners in the Pacific. We work with larger Navies in a support role mainly.

We don't patrol British waters as you guys have your own Navy to do that, hehe.

Fortunately, doctors are now performing miracles in transplant surgery.

Unfortunately, I don't think we have any doctors willing to perform Frankenstein-esque surgery in Britain ... at least not where I live ...

Fortunately, this may be introduced soon following a sudden demand for eyes after ECM has removed them all for his dark ceremonies.

Unfortunately, ECM will also be supplying the donor eyeballs - taken from the Undead Horde, most likely.

Fortunately, it is now GG's horde, so all the blame rests on her. :P

Unfortunately, laurie obviously doesn't know about this spell if she thinks you'll get them from there:

Animate Dead
Necromancy [Evil]
Level: Clr 3, Death 3, Sor/Wiz 4
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Targets: One or more corpses touched
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No
This spell turns the bones or bodies of dead creatures into undead skeletons or zombies that follow your spoken commands.
The undead can follow you, or they can remain in an area and attack any creature (or just a specific kind of creature) entering the place. They remain animated until they are destroyed. (A destroyed skeleton or zombie can’t be animated again.)
Regardless of the type of undead you create with this spell, you can’t create more HD of undead than twice your caster level with a single casting of animate dead. (The desecrate spell doubles this limit)
The undead you create remain under your control indefinitely. No matter how many times you use this spell, however, you can control only 4 HD worth of undead creatures per caster level. If you exceed this number, all the newly created creatures fall under your control, and any excess undead from previous castings become uncontrolled. (You choose which creatures are released.) If you are a cleric, any undead you might command by virtue of your power to command or rebuke undead do not count toward the limit.
Skeletons: A skeleton can be created only from a mostly intact corpse or skeleton. The corpse must have bones. If a skeleton is made from a corpse, the flesh falls off the bones.
Zombies: A zombie can be created only from a mostly intact corpse. The corpse must be that of a creature with a true anatomy.
Material Component: You must place a black onyx gem worth at least 25 gp per Hit Die of the undead into the mouth or eye socket of each corpse you intend to animate. The magic of the spell turns these gems into worthless, burned-out shells.

Fortunately (it seems to me), I don't play any RPGs, so I never learned any "spells".

Fortunately, the only time I'd want a Horde is when my driveway needs snow removal - and I can always borrow ECM's (now GG's) for that.

Fortunately, it is now GG that I'll have to negotiate with, as ECM gifted her with the Undead Horde before he left.

Or maybe that should be unfortunately........

Unfortunately, that doesn't make it any easier to absorb more knowledge ... just harder, as I try and find empty memory locations in my brain ... I wonder if the brain has any sort of 'defragmenting' function to help keep information well ordered :P that would rock.
