Heavy Metal (I'm setting you up here gpackin)
In the 60’s, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

hypochlorite, not hypochloride

There's an oxygen attached (NaOCl)

Bleach is sodium hypochlorite solution ... usually 12.5% as a biocide in cooling towers. We engineers use both terms.

I remember having it explained as follows:

- Household bleach (eau de Javel) contains impurities, hence its yellowish colour. This bleach is not used in dentistry for reasons of legal liability concerning those alleged impurities.

- The sodium hypochlorite solution used in endodontics is colourless, more chemically pure and more diluted (1.5 - 3.0 %) than household bleach.

BTW. Dutch has the same chemical terminology as German:
Natrium for Na (Sodium); Natriumhypochloriet; Natriumfluoride
Kalium for K (Potassium)

starch

(When I was 5, in kindergarten, I needed paper glue. Mama dissolved some starch in hot water. Cooled, it made the perfect paper adhesive for kid use, because any spilled glue could easily be washed off with water.
Being non-toxic, starch in cold water also made an efficient medication for diarrhoea.)
